My visit to Aisha Fahmy Palace in Cairo

When I saw a post on Facebook about Aisha Fahmy Palace in Zamalek, Cairo being open to visitors after renovations, I decided that I must see this marvelous place.

I passed by Aisha Fahmy Palace many times before it was renovated, and each time I saw it, I was totally mesmerized by it. I was beyond excited that it was finally open to the public.

Aisha Fahmy Palace is located on the Nile in Zamalek, my favorite neighborhood in Cairo, The palace was built in 1907 on an area of 2,700 square meters.

I went there with my mother, she also loves history and mansions, we went there on a Saturday, the visit was perfect. We couldn't believe the beauty of this palace.

The palace was designed by an Italian architect, Antonio Lashak, and was named after Princess Aisha Fahmy.

Aisha Fahmy Palace consists of two floors and has "summer rooms" and "winter rooms", including an incredible room that was gifted by the Japanese Ambassador, its walls are covered with red silk, and it's my favorite room of the palace, I stayed there for almost an hour.

My entire visit lasted for almost three hours. I was so focused on each detail, even the windows, walls, and wardrobes have a distinct aesthetic form, I didn't want to miss any part of this incredible monument.

It's a magnificent place, each room is stunning and unparalleled. I was completely captivated by the exquisite details and the interior design.

The carvings on the ceiling, parquet floors, paintings, and the staircase are fascinating and impressive. It's a must-see if you visit Cairo.

Here are some photos that I have taken in Aisha Fahmy Palace, I hope you like them :) I'm not a good photographer but I hope the pictures will show the beauty of this place.
