Mistakes to avoid after graduation

There are some mistakes that most graduates might make and could damage their careers… I tried summarizing those mistakes to help you avoid them:

-Rushing to get a full time/paid job (be patient).

-Not taking courses to develop language and computer skills.

-Avoiding unpaid internship opportunities

-Trying to imitate someone else's path (trust your journey).

-Stressing too much (stress won't solve anything).

-Not being prepared before interviews (know how to answer most important interview questions).

-Not having a professional resume (many websites can help you write your resume).

-Not being well dressed during the interview (make sure to know the dress code).

-Not having a LinkedIn profile.

-Unprofessional email address (don't send your resume from email such as a1lady, sweetcreature or letstalk etc etc).

-lack of focus during job interviews.

-Not asking enough questions about the job description.

-Falling for scams.

-Not knowing enough information about the employer when applying for the job.

-Feeling negative when not getting accepted.

-Applying for dead-end jobs.

-Quitting your job after less than 6 months.

-Lack of confidence (you must believe in yourself)

-Forgetting to have time for yourself and your family.

-Not building/maintaining connections.

-Not taking care of your health.

-Neglecting your hobbies.

-Not following your goals and dreams.
