Short yoga break to improve your mood and feel stronger

I woke up today feeling that my whole body aches, especially my lower back. I wasn't in a good place emotionally yesterday due to everything bad that is happening in the world.


I went to bed unhappy, my emotional state always impacted my physical state, so I needed a quick fix to feel better in my body and soul.

So of course, I chose Yoga. I browsed Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel and did this short but very effective yoga session. You can find it at this link. This yoga class has really transformed how I feel, now I'm better, the pain is gone and I'm no longer anxious.


I'm proud to say that I did the side plank with Adriene's voice guiding me, I did it, this video also has a few of my favorite yoga moves such as (cat cow) and (bird dog)!

Yoga improves your mood by increasing the production of endorphins, which are the body's natural feel-good chemicals. It also reduces the levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, in the body.


 Additionally, yoga promotes relaxation and reduces anxiety by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. 


The deep breathing techniques used in yoga help to calm the mind and release tension. 


Regular practice of yoga has been shown to improve overall mental well-being and promote a positive outlook on life.
