Time management tricks and most efficient tips to face pressure at work

Time management is a skill that has unlimited benefits for everyone, either students, employees, or entrepreneurs. If we master this skill, then everything becomes easier and success becomes achievable.

A few days ago, my best friend encouraged me to take a time management course (online of course) to improve our soft skills and eventually help us with our career goals.

I really enjoy learning and studying new skills and I loved this course because it gave me better control of my day and how to organize my chores and get better results without neglecting myself.

Time management can decrease your level of stress and anxiety because it will help you feel more accomplished and that your day is organized, also it can help you be more successful at your studies or your job by being able to face problems and having less chaos.

The knowledge that I gained from the time management course can improve my daily life and my career, and here are the most important lessons that I have learned from the time management course:

-Don't neglect the most important tasks for the sake of less important ones.

-Planning can become a daily habit if you repeat it for several days.

-There are two types of time: the time you can plan and the time you can't plan.

-Time management/planning can increase your productivity by at least 30%.

-Categorize your tasks based on importance, required effort, risks, resources, and how they serve your goals.

-Any task that requires less than 30 minutes, you should do it immediately.

-You can divide your task into many parts and do every part separately to make it easier, instead of postponing it.

-The most important tasks are rarely urgent.

-Recognize your priorities.

-Create a balance between your work and your personal life errands.

-There is a difference between priorities and goals.

-Time is something that you can't store and can't be replaced.

-Take breaks and rest to reactivate and restore yourself.

-Recognize when you're most active during the day to do the most important tasks.

-Motivate yourself.

-Learn to say no to unimportant tasks.

Most efficient tips to face pressure at work, either if you work from home or at the office:

-Don't resort to harmful activities like smoking or yelling at people.

-Leave people and activities that negatively affect you.

-Don't be too hard on yourself.

-Have logical expectations from you and others.

-Refuse any burden that could lead to the accumulation of work.

-Learn to focus on one task.

-Train yourself on how to relax.

-Accept things that you can't control or change.

-There are different kinds of pressures: pressures that can motivate you and pressures that can harm you.

-Know that your health comes first.
