How I encouraged myself to do day six of the 30 days of yoga

I woke up feeling drained, I was struggling to do the minimum of tasks, I was about to give up on doing the 30 day yoga journey, I was so weak.


After having breakfast, I checked my email and I found the daily email sent from Adriene, I opened it, and this is the phrase that got me motivated (remember, this is a process of self discovery.)

She added (Notice what it feels like to be alive today. Burn away that which no longer serves. )

I need to do this, I need to get rid of all of my fears and negative emotions… this is why I do yoga! to invite good emotions into my soul...

Of course, I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to do today's yoga session (it's a core practice and I have a weak core) but with the guidance of sweet and loving Adriene I managed to finish this challenging (but amazing and fulfilling) yoga session titled BURN.


Yes I was shaking! Yes it was difficult! But I did it!

I loved the breath of fire technique but I didn't master it and that's okay, I don't need to be perfect, I just need to try, I need to show up for myself.
