Feel rejuvenated with day 24 of the 30 Day Yoga Journey

We're starting the last week of BREATH - A 30 Day Yoga Journey with the most energizing yoga practice. I started this yoga session feeling lazy and not having enough energy but this changed through the session and I felt a complete transformation.


Today's yoga session is titled (Rejuvenate), and this is how I felt after finishing this class. I always feel energized and uplifted after yoga but this class allowed me to give new energy to my mind and body.


Adriene said, "this practice gives us the tools to notice that where our attention goes… energy flows." I try to focus my attention on love and compassion, and not to have any space for negativity or toxic energy.

She also noted that we are energizing things that are not serving us, and I agree, I can't remember how many times I directed my focus towards thoughts and feelings that were hurting me.

We began today's yoga session with (breath of fire), it really helps to awaken the mind and body, stirring up the necessary power to start the yoga practice but my cats left the room as soon as I started it. They're not as tolerant as Benji.


I enjoyed the warrior variations and the transformations between poses. AND YES I DID THE SIDE PLANK. For a second I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but I made it. I didn't allow any negative thoughts to make me question myself.

Adriene helped me laugh during the session, she brings a lot of positive energy. It's a blessing to do yoga with her.
