I'm proud to say that I did a 50 minute yoga session this morning :) I usually shy away from long yoga sessions but I encouraged myself to do this and I couldn't be happier. I was feeling so cold when I woke up but I got an email about today's practice and it motivated me to start this practice immediately without any hesitation.
Adriene wrote at the end of this email ( Enjoy today, you are my hero) this phrase gave me endless positive energy.
I did every move with the guidance of the amazing yoga teacher (Adriene). I focused on marrying the breath with the movement, and it felt so good.
The practice is called (invite), it started slow and gentle with breathing exercises, and slowly got more physically demanding (in a good way).
The first session of this yoga journey has a few of my most favorite yoga moves such as: extended child pose, cat cow, and baby cobra.
I had to take off my heavy sweatshirt in the middle of this beautiful practice because it gave my body a lot of energy and it made me feel more flexible.
I have to say that I wasn't committed to daily yoga practice recently, but this is about to change, as I'm committed to a 30 day yoga journey with Adriene.
I felt so fortunate to be doing this practice simultaneously with thousands of people around the world. it's a wonderful feeling.
