When I watched (Amazing Stories - The Cellar) it became one of my favorite things to watch and I think it's an ideal romance story, for the reasons below:
-The character development of Sam Taylor (played by Dylan O'Brien), he amazingly grew from a guy who is just having fun to someone who falls deeply in love with Evelyn Porter (played by Victoria Pedretti).
-Sam fell in love with Evelyn before even meeting her, he knew that she was the love of his life.
-I love how two people who have nothing in common (in this case, not even the same era) fall completely in love, this is the most romantic thing.
-How Sam recognized the passion of Evelyn and how he motivated her, in the most precious way, to embrace her passion and to appreciate her talent.
-When Sam protected Evelyn from her mom and managed to save her music collection, he knew that they were vital for her, it's heartwarming when someone protects what you love.
-Sam makes Evelyn fearless, she manages to express her thoughts and feelings when she faces her fiancé and when she confronts her mom.
-Sam is very smart and resourceful, he doesn't give up, and he is so focused on how to save Evelyn without even caring about himself.
-The sacrifice that Sam has made is tremendous. He is very unselfish, and that's what true love is about. I wanted it to end in a different way of course :(
-(Amazing Stories - The Cellar) shows that you can find love when/where you least expect it.
-Sam started (Amazing Stories - The Cellar) not knowing what to do with his life, but he ends up having a goal and a purpose, which is something very inspiring.
-(Amazing Stories - The Cellar) should be a reminder that women still face injustice, on so many levels, in different societies, and that women deserve better.
