Effects of reducing my sugar intake and how I did it


I took the decision to stop drinking sugary/soft drinks, because everyone knows that too much sugar can't be good for you, it's highly addictive and I felt like this unhealthy habit was having too much control over me.


I hate the feeling that I'm putting something in my body that's not serving me in any good way. So no more fizzy drinks for me.

What I noticed thus far after cutting down my sugar intake:


-My clothes fit me better, I don't stand on the scale, I said goodbye to that toxic thing a while back, but what I definitely noticed is that some of my clothes are no longer tight (especially around the belly) and that is helping me enjoy yummy food without the guilt.

-My skin looks better and my face doesn't seem puffy in the morning.

-I don't want to overeat, my food portions are under control, my appetite isn't crazy, I used to feel so hungry super quick but now I don't suffer from this issue anymore.

-I have more energy and more focus, my mood is better, and I'm sleeping better, and I don't need a lot of sleep to feel rested.

How I am reducing my sugar intake:


-Determination, I don't want something that makes me feel ill.

-Drinking water or fresh juice instead of sugary/soft drinks.

-Eating more fruits, vegetables and nuts.

-Drinking turmeric milk, it has a lot of benefits.

-Doing daily yoga.

Too much sugar is never a good thing, take care of your health and wellbeing by reducing your sugar intake.
