I'm happy to say that, after a few slightly negative days, today is a good day. I spent some time outside, I ate pizza and Ice Cream, and the weather was so sunny.
I was feeling guilty for experiencing negative emotions, as I wanted to find my spiritual alignment, but I discovered that part of being alive is facing these kinds of feelings and that's totally normal.
Life can be difficult, being positive all the time is not easy, but also we shouldn't let negativity drain us or control us, we should recognize our thoughts and deal with them gradually in order to shift our state to positivity.
Don't ignore how you feel, listen to your thoughts like when you listen to a friend, and give comfort to yourself.
I try when I'm facing obstacles not to let them change my self care routine, I continued my affirmations as much as possible and did my daily yoga. This helped me transform how I feel because I used to let my emotional state stop me from taking care of myself.
When I feel good I attract good things, but I also realized that to appreciate the good, I have to sometimes face the bad, so I become more grateful for whatever makes me happy.
I'm learning not to dwell on any bad emotions. I acknowledge that "yes, this not so awesome thing happened, I'm frustrated, but everything is okay, I will get through this."
I did yoga after 9 pm, today's yoga's session is titled Rebirth Yoga, and Adriene wrote "This session is a gentle tool to help you renew, stimulate healthy energy flow, and invite things to cycle through."
Adriene also wrote "Allow things to cycle through. Ask: What do you choose for this cycle?" I don't want to make myself stuck in a cycle of frustration, I choose to be in a cycle of gratitude.
She encourages us to "breathe like you love yourself, move like you love yourself" and listen to the sound of our breathing, this has a healing effect.
When I give love to myself, I find it easier to snap out of any bad situation, there are things that we can't control but we can control how we feel about ourselves.
