I'm starting March 2021 with this amazing yoga session with Adriene, it's titled Let It Go Yoga Flow and it's the first video of this month's playlist.
Adriene started this session with breathing exercises to encourage us to notice how we feel and to honor where we are.
I was feeling a bit drained and exhausted because of fear and anxiety but this video raised my energy and transformed my mood significantly.
This yoga practice helps us to acknowledge our emotions and to let go of any negative thoughts or feelings like anger or frustration.
Adriene finished this yoga session with two mantras the first one is "everything is as it should be" this mantra can help in calming the mind whenever we become overwhelmed with stress.
The second mantra is very beautiful and can help you in trusting your journey and to feel that you're surrounded with love and support, which is "the universe is for me and so is everything else".
This session is a good reminder for us to know that there are things that we cannot control and things that we can control and that include our thoughts and energy.
We need to be more gentle with the energy that we give to the universe, we're similar to a vortex of emotions and energies and if we give negativity we'll attract it.
Yoga emphasizes being present in the moment and focusing on the breath, creating a state of mindfulness. Through this practice, we can observe negativity without judgment and learn to let it go, rather than holding onto it.
Repeat this when you're not feeling your best "May we all see the truth. May we all speak the truth. And may we always feel the truth."
