Detox your energy with 23 min Yoga Wash

I was offline for a few days. There's a heat wave that's messing with my energy, it's 40°C while I write this post. Also, I feed stray cats in my neighborhood and I noticed lately that a couple of them aren't feeling well, I failed in all attempts to catch them and get them to the vet and that's something that truly makes me sad. 


Something like this makes me feel overwhelmed. I do my best but sometimes negative thoughts attack me. 


It's impossible here to find people to adopt stray cats, there are a few animal shelters and all of them suffer from overcapacity and struggling with low funds.


This is why I decided to do everything that I can to help stray animals, feeding them and providing them with fresh drinking water, besides donating to shelters and animal rights groups.


I don't want to walk past a stray cat or a stray dog and leave them hungry or thirsty. I can't ignore their pain.


Sometimes other people feed stray animals in my neighborhood, and I'm really thankful for anyone who does anything in their power to help an animal in need.


But many people here think stray animals are "filthy", and "unworthy" and don't deserve the time or energy. I think quite the opposite they're beautiful and they need us, we need to have mercy on animals. 


We exist on this earth to treat all beings with care and kindness. This is what makes us humans.


Raising awareness online is something vital in animal rights, to encourage adopting animals in need or volunteering in campaigns to treat and feed stray animals.  


Anyway, today's yoga session with Adriene is titled Yoga Wash - Detox Flow. It helped me block many negative thoughts, calm my fears and energize me physically and mentally. 


All of the poses are standing. I really enjoyed the Wide-Legged Forward Bend, Goddess pose and Eagle Arms. 


I noticed that my balance is better than I expected.
