Being vulnerable is something that many of us could experience due to different reasons, on so many levels and in various situations.
It's important to embrace how we feel and not ignore it, because suppressing our emotions could cause bigger problems like anger.
Recognizing vulnerability in yourself will give you the chance to acknowledge vulnerability in people around you, which will make you more compassionate and more able to have meaningful connections.
Today's yoga session with Adriene is titled "Yoga for Vulnerability" and it starts with a fetal position.
Adriene encourages us to honor our bodies and not force them to take a certain shape or pose.
Most of this amazing yoga session is on the ground and it helps to de-stress and build strength.
Adriene says “I’m allowed to feel the way I’m feeling” and this is something I need to remind myself of, and I hope you remember it as well, don't give anyone (even you) the chance to question how you feel or to dismiss your feelings.
This yoga session ends with a self hug, which is very beautiful, and the entire yoga practice made me feel more balanced and grounded.
Take some time for yourself and take a step in your self-care journey if you come across this post.
