Poetry helps us express how we feel, either by reading it or writing it. I wrote few poems the other night when I wasn't feeling at my best. They're so random but somehow, they helped me vent my emotions and feel better. I wanted to share them with you, and I hope you like them. Please let me know what you think.
1-) Does it matter?
Does it matter what they think?
You're source of love sparkling in the dark
A tree that reshapes sunlight like magic
No need to self explain
Their hate is your gain
Let it guide the light in you
Like fire through gasoline
2-)when I'm connected to you
Mighty as a mountain covered in snow
Limitless as an undiscovered galaxy
Free as a leaf in the fall
That is what I feel when I'm connected to you
We're far when distance is measured by kilometers
But our souls are twisted together like branches
3-) A fake smile
The next morning I will be fine
I force myself to believe this lie
Struggling to breathe
Starring at my own eyes
Tomorrow is a new day
I say with a fake smile
4-)They think they know
They take one look and think they see you
When they didn't see you pick yourself up after falling apart
When they didn't see how you stop yourself from screaming
When they didn't see how you gathered the pieces of your shattered heart
Far from the truth what they think they know
When they haven't witnessed your battles
5-) Different versions
The word "beautiful" has many synonyms
The same applies to you, my dear
You have different versions
You created multiple "you"
But you're still an unmatched diamond
Brighter than thousands of stars
Trying to find your place in the night sky
6-) After healing
Am I sad? Depressed? Or didn't get enough sleep?
All I know is that I don't want this feeling
Having scars that hurt after healing
Repeating the same circles
Crying for the same reasons
Losing and finding hope
7-) A miserable soul
Chasing you is something that I do
Forgetting you is something that I fail at
A miserable soul is what I get
And I would do it all over again
8-)what you want to be
There's nothing easier than breaking something
There's nothing faster than causing darkness
One word can make a heart bleed
One look can make a soul uneasy
Rebuilding takes more time than demolishing
Choose what kind of mark you leave when you look behind
9-)A different choice
Your kindness makes you a warrior
Your softness makes you a hero
In a world where cruelty is applauded
You made a different choice
Standing in front of the flooding river
Holding a flower and looking at the sun
10-)I can't keep away
Intoxicated by the deserts in your eyes
I can't resist your wild smile
Even after a thousand try
Why should I?
11-)Without words
I'm asking you for way too much
Your trust
Your time
I'm asking without a voice
Can you hear my heart?
12-)My kingdom
When I put my hand on my chest
I feel you touching me
Ruling my kingdom on the moon
With the entire universe hidden in your mind
13-) With me
If you want someone to keep a secret
Why not spend time with me?
Like a ship sailing in the fiercest storms
My passion won't be drowned
You're safe with me
In a place made from dreams
14-)Color in your eyes
Just like the unstoppable force of nature
You make the ground shakes
Healing my past
My heart beats again
With the magnetic color in your eyes
