Things you should never apologize for

I have a problem that I'm working on solving, which is I apologize way too much. I'm learning slowly and daily to stop this habit, and that's why I'm listing things that you should never apologize for:

-Being yourself. Learn to be who you are proudly and fearlessly.

 

-Setting boundaries. People set boundaries when they actually want to be with you and wish that you know how to treat them and communicate with them. It's not to push you away, it's in fact to pull you closer.

-Saying no, refusing to hang out or attend a party for example. You don't need to justify yourself when you don't feel comfortable doing something or being somewhere.

-Stating your opinions. Don't hang out with anyone who thinks that you're arguing when you express your mind, be with someone who accepts your thoughts.

-Wanting to be alone. It's fine to want to disconnect and recharge. If you're an introvert or if you have social anxiety. It doesn't mean you hate people. It means you appreciate your own company and need to have "me time".

-Self love and self care. Give love and care for yourself as much as possible. If you can't love yourself then you can't love anyone else. Stay away from people who think self love is selfish, it's contrary to being selfish. 

-Having no energy. Never apologize if you need to rest or stay in bed a bit longer. 

-Quitting an unfulfilling job. Never stay in a dead-end job just because you're afraid of disappointing your parents or anyone else. 

-Ending toxic relationships. I don't need to explain it. Push toxins out of your life.

-Your music taste. Listen to any song that you love. Have fun and enjoy.

-Being "extra", you can be extra loving, extra kind, extra sweet, extra YOU. Notice who celebrates this and say bye to who doesn't!

-Your emotional state and being in touch with how you feel. Never say sorry for crying or being sad or being amazed or anything else that you feel. Your emotions are valid.

-Your fashion sense. Wear what makes you comfortable.

-Makeup. Either "too much makeup" or "no makeup at all". never apologize for it.
