Yoga session to create flexibility in the mind and body

My family is facing difficult times, my cousin has been fighting cancer for the past five years and recently the doctors discovered that it's spreading more.

I love my cousin, she's the closest thing I have ever had to a sister. and even when she has been really sick, she is still compassionate and she listens to whatever I have to say to her. She gives so much love to everyone around her.

This was my life update. Anyway, today's yoga session is much needed and it's titled Yoga for Flexible Mind and Body by Yoga With Adriene

This yoga video is designed to "learn to move wisely and efficiently so that you can meet your goals, and reach further than you could have ever imagined without overextending yourself in a relentless mode of hustle."

It's amazing in creating a good flow of energy mentally and physically. I still haven't excelled at the chaturanga pose.

I really loved the star pose, hugging knees to chest and knocking on heaven's door.

Adriene kept repeating affirmations such as "I'm strong, I'm flexible and I'm worthy".

Yoga isn't about having a super flexible body, if you have that, good for you, As you can notice from this session, all poses don't require extra amounts of flexibility, they require commitment and focus.

I believe that yoga is about being present in the moment and creating a body and mentality that can face different challenges. To help us be versatile and resilient.

Yoga promotes flexibility in both the body and mind through a combination of physical postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices.

Physically, yoga involves stretching and holding poses, which gradually lengthens and loosens tight muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

This helps increase joint mobility and range of motion, promoting overall flexibility and preventing injuries.

Mentally, yoga encourages individuals to cultivate present-moment awareness, focus on their breath, and release stress and tension through relaxation techniques.

This calms the mind, improves mental clarity, and enhances emotional well-being, allowing for greater flexibility in thoughts, emotions, and responses to various situations.

By simultaneously working on the body and mind, yoga creates an integrated sense of flexibility that positively impacts overall health and well-being.
