My dreamlike visit to Indonesia and watching the sunset in Bali

I traveled to Indonesia with my brother on October 17th 2019, it was a very long flight, from Cairo to Dubai then Dubai to Jakarta. Jakarta's traffic is overwhelming, but the city is beautiful and the people there are very friendly. We spent a couple of days in Jakarta, my brother planned everything (it's not his first visit and he has friends there) and he also understands the language, meanwhile, I was terribly jetlagged.

It was my first trip this far from Egypt and it took me longer than expected to adjust.

Then we went to Puncak for a couple of days and we stayed at Eminence hotel and I must say the paddy fields are phenomenal.  We arrived in Bali, we stayed in Tijili Seminyak hotel, the weather was so humid but no rain, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, this place is magnificent, I enjoyed the traditional dance and the statues.

We also visited Uluwatu Temple, the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Bali gate of Heaven, it was super crowded but extraordinary.

I'm extremely happy to say that I watched the sunset in Bali and yes it's an incredible experience. I love sunsets and actually experiencing it more than once in Bali was a dream come true for me. I couldn't believe it actually happened. I'm thankful for this awesome holiday and I would do it again once I get the chance.

I only spent 10 days there and traveled home alone because my brother had to stay longer.

My flight home was exhausting. I traveled from Bali to Jakarta, Jakarta to Dubai, Dubai to Cairo, which means three different airports.

I loved Indonesia and enjoyed exploring this rich culture but maybe I needed more time there. I took so many photos there but of course, I can't post them all so I hope you like the few pictures from Indonesia that I shared below.
