I traveled alone to Europe in 2018, but I wanted to experience traveling abroad with a group, that's why I decided in mid 2019 to start searching for companies that organize trips to Europe.
After spending many hours on Facebook, I found that Travco (a tourism company) is having several trips to Europe and I told myself I needed to be on one of these trips.
I contacted them immediately, and all spots were booked, but one person in the Barcelona group was thinking about the cancellation.
A couple of days passed until the lovely coordinator called me and told me there was a spot available on this trip. Of course I said yes and went to their office so they could start all the necessary procedures to travel including the visa.
They had everything well prepared, and the pressure was a lot less than my previous trip.
The company gave me all the needed details, I reached Cairo Airport as planned and everything was super organized.
We arrived in Barcelona on August 18th 2019, the entire group was super friendly, and the tour coordinator was waiting for us at Barcelona airport because she arrived a day earlier than us.
A bus took the group to our hotel (Evenia Rosselló). The hotel is beyond amazing, the breakfast was delicious and has a great location.
On the first night, we went to dinner which had a flamenco show in Mojito Club, it was a very exciting experience, the dancers are very talented, I was so excited to witness their incredible performance.
In the next few days, we visited Sagrada Familia, Dreta de l'eixample, Camp Nou, National Art Museum of Catalonia.
We also visited Girona, Tossa de Mar, Bagà and we traveled outside spain and went to Ax-les-Thermes in France and Andorra.
As you can see it was a very eventful trip, I enjoyed a boat ride experience for the first time in my life and we also went to Montserrat, it's a mountain near Barcelona, I really love mountains.
I left the group to have a solo day as planned, I walked all over Barcelona, completely alone, it was awesome.
I visited Catalonia Square, Passeig de Gràcia, Cathedral of Barcelona, and Gothic Quarter.
I enjoyed traveling with a group it was fun, and it helped me feel a lot safer. We supported each other, I had people with me while waiting for luggage, we had awesome laughs, ate meals together, and went for walks at middle of the night.
I made great friends, and everything was perfectly planned without stress. I hope to repeat this experience many more times.
