Discover the power of stillness with a meditation session designed for stress relief


We're in the last few days of 2021, this year has been eventful, this is why it's important to let go of any stress before welcoming the new year.


The world always makes us in a rush, we're rushing to finish our education, get our dream job, find a life partner and we struggle every day to find peace and stillness.


From the moment I wake up until I go to bed, I find myself always doing something, or worrying about a task or planning for the week ahead.


It's becoming more difficult to enjoy the moment and to live in the present, even when I'm watching a movie or listening to music, I find myself doing something else, either texting a friend or following the news, which is stressful.


That's why I chose today's meditation session which is titled Stillness For Stress Relief | 15-Minute Meditation.


Adriene wrote "Be still, and know yourself better. In a world of constant bustle, hustle, and grind, there is still opportunity to cultivate balance and influence our experience of the world in a positive and meaningful way."


This meditation session is basically a gift for your well-being, but I must say that I struggled to stay still.


At first, I thought it would be easy to remain present without moving but I kept on being restless and fidgeting. But after a few minutes, I deepened my breathing and followed Adriene's voice that guided me to tranquility.


This powerful meditation practice helped me to slow down and that's what I needed to let go of any stress.
