Toxic people have the ability to drain your positive energy and make you feel bad.
Dealing with a toxic person can be a very terrible experience because they want to "infect" everyone around them with negativity and bring them down in every way possible.
That's why it's important to spot toxic people either at work or school or even at your "friends" group in order to be able to deal with them and know what's going on.
So here's a 9 step guide on how to spot toxic people:
1-They don't respect your boundaries, for example, you don't accept house visits without prior appointments, and they know this fact about you, but they keep ignoring it.
2-They lack sympathy, they never put themselves in someone else's shoes, and they never feel empathy towards anyone.
3-They never validate your thoughts and feelings, but they always seek validation from everyone else.
4-They don't respect different opinions and if you don't agree with everything that they say or do, you'll be on their bad side.
5-They overreact, and their anger is limitless to the point they make you feel like walking on eggshells around them.
6-They always lie without even feeling guilty about it.
7-They have no respect for your personal space.
8-They usually mock you, but they end up mimicking you.
9-They want to know everything about you and ask all sorts of personal questions.
Spotting a toxic person is important to survive communication with them and once you know who you're dealing with, you can find a strategy to protect your energy.
Removing toxic people from your life can improve your quality of life and help you appreciate good people.
