The word "happiness" can be used to describe a variety of good feelings, ranging from joy and contentment to pleasure and delight. Happiness is a state of well-being that includes a sense of satisfaction with one's life, positive emotions, and high levels of energy.
What does happiness mean?
Happiness is a state of mind and a way of thinking, it's certain that how you feel is dependent on your attitude. Your attitude is how you interpret life's events and situations.
Your attitude directly impacts your happiness because your thoughts dictate your feelings and behaviors.
Changing how you think can have an instant and dramatic effect on your level of happiness.
To be happy, you must first be aware of how your attitude affects your mental well-being.
The pursuit of happiness
Many of us seek to find happiness through different things, such as travel, shopping, or even a haircut.
Some of us find happiness in unexpected things, such as seeing a butterfly or finding a bird feather.
Lucky people find happiness when they're not even searching for it.
What makes you happy?
Happiness is a common goal, who doesn't want to be happy? But most people can't answer the question "what makes you happy?".
The internet is filled with quotes about happiness, but today I saw a post on Instagram about happiness, and I wanted to write about it.
The Instagram post says that "happiness comes in waves, and it will find you again" and I think it's a beautiful concept because we worry about losing happiness to the point of not enjoying what makes us happy.
This concept gave me hope and reassured me that happiness is never lost, and it will come back again, maybe in a different form and maybe better than before.
if you're losing hope or feeling that happiness is far, just know it comes in waves <3
Don't forget that happiness is contagious. When you smile, people around you tend to smile back. When you laugh, others start laughing too.
