Light cardio warmup before Yoga or longer workouts

Warming up before yoga or longer workouts is important because it helps to prevent injury, increase flexibility, and improve range of motion.

There are many ways to warm up before yoga or longer workouts, but some of the best exercises to do are dynamic stretches and light cardio.

This can be anything from a brisk walk to jumping jacks. But I recommend this warmup routine by mizi, it's titled 10MIN Morning Warm Up Exercises - Beginner Friendly (All Standing).

This warmup will leave you energized and feeling great.

When you warm up before yoga or a longer workout, you're essentially preparing your body for the physical activity to come.

That means you're less likely to injure yourself because your muscles are already loose and ready to stretch.

You're also more likely to have a successful yoga practice or workout if you've warmed up first.

A good warm-up should last for at least 5-10 minutes to give your body enough time to loosen up and get ready for the physical activity to come.

Maintain good form and proper technique during your warm-up to ensure a safe and effective workout

Take your time and listen to your body during the warm-up, allowing any tight or sore areas to loosen up before moving on to more intense exercises.

Stay hydrated throughout your warm-up and throughout your workout to keep your muscles properly fueled and prevent cramping.

Remember that warming up is not just physical; it also helps mentally prepare you for the workout, allowing you to focus and get into the right mindset.
