Dance workout: Did I like it?

I'm currently participating in a yoga challenge to enhance flexibility, both physically and mentally. Today's yoga challenge is "Choose". The yoga teacher asks us to pick a new form of movement/workout and give it a try.


It's to encourage us to step out of our comfort zone and try something we haven't tried before.


This challenge is a learning opportunity and a chance to grow by making a choice to experience something new. The point of this challenge is to make us notice how we feel when we try something new, and to let go of any expectations.


I wanted to try a dance workout.


I love dancing but I never tried it as a form of a workout before.


Dance workouts are fun but they're more disciplined and organized than regular dancing. I'm glad that I made a choice to do something I'm not used to, it's good for personal development.


Did I like the dance workout? No! 


Am I glad that I tried something new? Definitely.


Will this challenge motivate me to be more brave? Absolutely. 


It also gives me a chance to know what makes my body feels more comfortable.
