Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that promotes deep relaxation and rest. It is practiced by lying down in a comfortable position and following a guided meditation that involves body awareness, breath work, and visualization.
Today's challenge is based on the one-word intention: SPACE! Kassandra suggests that we practice Yoga Nidra.
One of the main benefits of Nidra yoga is its ability to reduce stress and anxiety. The practice helps to calm the mind and release tension from the body, leading to a sense of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Yoga Nidra can also help to improve overall well-being.
So I chose this video.
It was my first time practicing this form of meditation.
I'm thankful for this challenge for introducing me to this amazing practice.
I will get better the more I practice it but it made me feel so relaxed by making me aware of my body and my breathing.
It made me feel safe and supported by my own body. It's a form of meditation that I will practice regularly.
