Breathing exercises can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve lung function and can help increase focus and energy levels. and today's challenge is based around the one-word intention: CENTER. Kassandra says "Let's find our center by practicing pranayama or breathwork."
Mindful breathing in general can increase the amount of oxygen that enters the lungs, which can help improve overall lung capacity and function.
It can also help improve energy levels by increasing the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, which can help with cognitive function and alertness.
I chose to do "Box Breathing" with this video.
This mindful breathing helped me feel relaxed but also refreshed and in a good mood. Box breathing consists of taking slow, deep breaths while counting to four during each inhale, hold, exhale, and hold again.
This technique can be done anywhere and at any time, making it a convenient tool for managing stress and anxiety.
It's a simple and effective method that can have numerous benefits for both the mind and body. I can improve focus and concentration, and promote overall well-being.
In conclusion, breathwork is a powerful exercise that can be done anywhere and anytime and has numerous benefits for both physical and mental health.
