Learning about yoga and its different styles

I always wanted to know more about different styles of yoga. I went through different articles/information on Google to get more educated about yoga.


There are many different styles of yoga, and each has its own unique approach and benefits. 


 I'm doing a yoga challenge that works on increasing flexibility in the body and mind. Today's yoga challenge is called "Learn". The yoga teacher advises us to learn more about yoga and its history.


The most known/popular styles of yoga:


-Hatha yoga focuses on breathing and holding poses for longer duration, allowing for a deeper stretch and increased flexibility.


-Vinyasa yoga is a more dynamic form of yoga that focuses on flowing movements and breath work. The classes can be quite challenging, making them a great option if you want to build strength and endurance.


-Bikram yoga, also known as hot yoga, is a style of yoga that is practiced in a heated room. The heat is said to help increase flexibility and detoxify the body. 


-Asana yoga involves a series of postures and breathing exercises. It is a powerful form of yoga that can help improve focus and concentration. It's my most favorite yoga style.


-Restorative yoga is a great way to calm the mind and body, and it can help reduce stress and improve sleep.


These were the styles that I got familiar with, there are more. I'm so happy that I did this exercise and learned more about yoga and its styles.
