Gratitude is a powerful emotion that can have profound effects on our lives. That's why I loved taking part in today's challenge that is based on the one-word intention: GRATITUDE.
The yoga teacher recommends that we make a gratitude list and write down a minimum of 50 things that we're grateful for and try to be as specific as possible.
Making a gratitude list of things we are thankful for is an excellent way to boost our mood, increase our sense of wellbeing, and cultivate a more positive outlook on life.
This kind of exercise can also help us appreciate the blessings that we have and be more mindful of the good in our lives.
When we make a list of the things we are grateful for, we focus our attention on the positive aspects of our lives. This helps us to cultivate a sense of contentment and joy.
We start to value what we have, rather than focusing on what we don't have.
So here's a list of what I'm grateful for:
-My health (this seems to be the most basic way to start a gratitude list but it's true)
-My family (Even though we had complicated moments but I'm grateful for them)
-My friends (I don't have a lot of friends but I have supportive friends and I'm grateful for each one of them)
-When a friend says "I saw this and remember you" I believe this is one of my favorite things to hear.
-When I get random texts or calls to make sure I'm doing okay.
-When a friend recommends me a good movie or a good book
-My Ewan Mitchell autograph <3
