Put on your dancing shoes for FREEDOM

Dance is a powerful tool for moving stagnant energy and it can help with processing emotions. It's also a fun way to connect with our bodies. 


Today's intention was all about "FREEDOM," and it was by far the most fun challenge yet from the "FLEXIBLE BODY, FLEXIBLE MIND" yoga challenge with Kassandra. 


Kassandra recommended that we pick 3 to 5 songs and dance to simply feel the energy flowing through our bodies without expectations


I love to dance and I'm a big fan of upbeat music. So, I started my own dance party (as I usually do) and my cats joined me (they were just looking at me). 


It was amazing how much energy I was able to release through dancing. It's my favorite coping mechanism. It helps me feel lighter, more alive, and completely in the moment. 


I also saw a few videos saying that dancing can be an effective way to release trauma.


Don't worry about mastering the dance moves! embrace the clumsiness and dance to your favorite songs. Anyway, today's challenge isn't challenging for me (I really love it).
