I'm currently engaged in a yoga challenge to increase flexibility in both my body and mind. Today's challenge is based on the one-word intention: RELEASE. The yoga teacher suggests that we purge 5 things from your house today "Go through the rooms of your house and notice the items that are cluttering your space".
This exercise aims to be a practice to let things go. Decluttering our space has positive benefits for our mental health. A cluttered environment can lead to increased stress levels. That doesn't mean throwing away things with sentimental value.
But things that no longer serve you or things that you're keeping "just in case".
By removing unnecessary items and organizing our belongings, we can create a more peaceful and calming atmosphere in our homes. Additionally, decluttering can improve our focus and productivity.
Overall, taking the time to declutter can have a significant impact on our mental well-being.
I declutter regularly but it has been a while since I last did that so it was much needed.
Things that I released from my place:
-Expired cosmetics and skincare products that didn't work well with me.
-Boxes and containers that I don't need.
-Chipped dish.
-Old phone case.
-Broken phone chargers.
-Headphones that no longer work.
Please share this post with your friends and feel free to email me, you'll find a contact widget on the blog to get in touch with me, I would love to hear from you.
