Remembering my happiest childhood memory

Today's challenge is called "REMEMBER". Kassandra asked us to "think of a cherished memory from childhood and then DRAW or PAINT IT!"

I hesitated a lot before writing about this subject. It's very personal to me, but I want to be truthful with my readers. Although there are some things I will not be able to share, I am committed to being candid with you.

For me, this was the most challenging exercise so far. Many people might find it fun to remember happy childhood memories, but I struggle with remembering the majority of my childhood. Past traumas can impact memory, make it difficult to recall events and can often be experienced long after the traumas have ended.

It was very difficult for me to recall my childhood but when I sat in silence for a while I remembered something that made me happy.

My father used to travel a lot for his work and he visited most of Europe but one of trips to London, he came back with so many gifts for me including colorful and beautiful hair clips that I still have until now. That's my happiest childhood memory.

I love drawing but I'm not good at it so I didn't draw this memory but it was so lovely memory, I'm glad I remembered it.

Anyway, this was one of my most emotionally demanding posts! Feel free to email me your opinions, you'll find a contact widget to get in touch with me. Please support my blog by sharing it on social media and with your friends.
