How Accepting My Curly Hair Changed My Travel Experience

I used to hate my curly hair and waste a lot of time and energy straightening it, which is exhausting especially when I'm traveling.

My recent trip was my first time traveling while embracing my natural curls, and It wasn't just a liberating experience but I also got a few compliments. Embracing my curls has made my traveling easier because I no longer feel worried about packing a heavy flat iron.

When it rained, I wasn't worried about getting my hair wet, I just enjoyed the rain and continued walking.

It's best to keep your curly hair routine simple while traveling and stick to the basics, which are your hair gel or your microfiber towel.

Also, it's good to know a couple of easy curly hairstyles to manage your hair when the curls aren't cooperating or when the weather is too hot to handle your hair on your shoulders and neck.

Having curly hair is like being in a "secret club" because you get smiles from other people with curly hair, it's super cute. I love having curly hair and traveling with it was more fun and it gave me the freedom not to waste hours of my trip to straighten my hair.
