How Gentle Seated Yoga Helped Me Recover After a Painful Dental Procedure

I had a dental procedure this past Wednesday and I was in pain for a couple of days, I couldn't eat anything but jelly and soup, and I couldn't exercise, which made my mood a bit worse.

With healing and experiencing less pain, I decided to do yoga to improve my mood and not surrender to being inactive.

I wasn't prepared for demanding yoga sessions, and after browsing YouTube, I found this amazing class that's titled Gentle Seated Yoga For Beginners & All Levels | 30 Minute Practice.

The yoga teacher describes it as "slow and gentle 30-minute yoga practice of seated and floor stretches, perfect for every body, suitable for beginners and all levels."

Seated yoga is also beneficial for those who prefer a more relaxed and meditative approach to their practice. It can be a great option for people recovering from surgery or illness, as it provides a low-impact way to increase flexibility, strength, and overall well-being.

This yoga practice is simply what I needed at this time, it allowed me to stretch my body and calm my mind. It's definitely a class that I will return to whenever I feel unmotivated.

These past few days were a reminder for me that it's okay to slow down, take it easy on myself and adjust my routine based on how I feel.

Feel free to email me, you'll find a contact widget on the blog to get in touch with me, I would love to hear from you.
