Online activities to help an important cause from the comfort of your own home

The majority of people have at least one account on a social media platform, and we spend time scrolling our feeds and we can take a small percentage of this time to advocate for an important cause or spread awareness about it.

But how to do that if you have few followers? I saw so many posts from people calling themselves "nobodies" as an excuse for not speaking up online and I imagine if all these people realized that together we can make a difference.

So what are the ways each one of us can do online to help an important cause without the need to be popular on social media:

-Watch the entire video:

If you're on Tiktok or Instagram and you only watch a couple of seconds of a video and then scroll to the next, this will affect the reach of the video, so if you see someone posting something important, the least thing you can do is watch until the end of the video.

-Interact with the post:

Leave a comment or at least like the posts discussing important issues, this will train the algorithm to show you more of this content and make the posts reach more people.

-Share the post:

Sharing social media posts is the best way to boost this content and raise awareness if you aren't comfortable writing a post or making a video and that is understandable. This will make more people interested in knowing about it.

-Petitions:

If you can't donate, sign and share petitions. This is also a constructive way for your online time.

You don't need to be a popular social media personality or a celebrity to use your online time to do something good, there are different and easy online activities that can make a difference in this world and anyone with a smartphone and internet connection can do it.

Please support my blog by sharing my posts with your friends and on social media! also, feel free to email me, I would love to hear your opinions.
