Rekindling My Passion for Movies With No Hard Feelings

Hello my lovely readers, I had a movie night last night, and I have not watched any movie for over four months so it was exciting for me to go back to watching movies. We chose to watch "No Hard Feelings" starring Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman, and it was a good choice.

Without so many spoilers, the movie follows the story of Maddie Barker an interesting woman who has financial issues, which will lead her to the deal to "date" Percy Becker, so she can have a car to pay her debt and save her mother's house.

The movie's story is for sure on the controversial side, but it portrays the beauty of truly connecting with someone.

I found myself laughing so many times while watching "No Hard Feelings", but nothing could have prepared me for the beach scene, so this is your friendly "warning".

Jenifer Lawrence effortlessly embodied her character's complexities, and how the hardships she faced in life made her not able to form connections.

This movie navigates serious themes of age gaps in love, social issues, controlling parents, bullying, and pursuing your dreams, but all of these topics are wrapped in a way that balances laughter, seriousness, and everything in between.

I find "No Hard Feelings" is a fun movie to watch, but it defies societal norms and challenges our preconceptions. It definitely transcends the boundaries of traditional love stories. I loved it.
