Refresh and Renew: Gentle Morning Yoga Session

I had only three hours of sleep last night and I needed this morning a quick yoga session to refresh me, so I did the perfect 10-minute gentle session that did exactly what I was looking for it is titled "10 min Gentle Morning YOGA - feel refreshed & renewed"






The instructor, Torie Fae, described it as a flow that would awaken the body and mind for the day ahead and this class did not disappoint.


Torie guided us through various poses, including the traditional plank, but what really stood out to me was the variation of the tabletop pose, I felt a deep stretch in my hips and lower back, helping to release any tension in my body.


There are also poses such as lizard, low lunge, and cobra, each one can stretch and strengthen different parts of our bodies. 


I could feel the energy flowing as we moved from one pose to the next, my muscles waking up and my mind becoming more focused and present.


The cool-down portion of the practice was with a variation of the child's pose, I could sense my body melting into the mat, releasing any remaining stress or tension.


This gentle morning yoga session was exactly what I needed and I recommend giving it a try if you want to feel refreshed and renewed in 10 short minutes.
