Today, I want to talk about an important role that I have been following in my face-washing routine – washing my face for 60 seconds. This may seem like a long time, but trust me, the benefits are worth it.


I used to rush through my face-washing routine, spending only a few seconds to cleanse my face. I thought that was enough, but it caused blemishes and dull skin. 


Washing your face for 60 seconds ensures that you properly cleanse your face. Our faces are exposed to dirt, pollution, and makeup throughout the day. If we don’t wash our faces thoroughly, all these impurities can clog our pores, leading to breakouts and other skin issues. 


This easy method also allows your skincare products to work better. Think about it, if your face is not properly cleansed, how can your serums, moisturizers, and other products penetrate your skin and do their job? By washing your face for a full 60 seconds, you are creating a clean canvas for your skincare products to work their magic. This will save you money in the long run because you won’t need to use as much product.


Washing your face for 60 seconds can also improve blood circulation in your face. As you massage your face for a full minute, you are stimulating blood flow, which can give your skin a healthy and radiant glow. This also helps in reducing puffiness and under-eye circles, giving you a refreshed and well-rested look.
